Bush-Hammered & Brushed Rustic Green Limestone | Seagrass

Architectural Texture with a Refined Natural Finish

Bush-Hammered and Brushed Rustic Green Limestone combines the pronounced texture of mechanical bush-hammering with a secondary brushing treatment that softens the tactile character of the stone.

The result is a distinctive architectural surface that retains the physical presence of bush-hammered limestone while introducing a more refined visual appearance.

Also known internationally as Seagrass Limestone, Grigio Olivo and Crema Oliva, Rustic Green is quarried and manufactured by HP Marble in Türkiye.

Strong Character, Refined Expression

The initial bush-hammering process produces a pattern of small indentations across the surface, while brushing modifies the resulting texture.

This combination creates a balanced finish that brings natural character and visual depth to exterior architecture.

Its muted green tones, ancient marine fossils and organic variations complement contemporary landscaping and architectural designs emphasizing natural materials.

Architectural Applications

• Exterior limestone pavers
• Courtyards and residential patios
• Garden pathways and walkways
• Outdoor steps and staircases
• Commercial pedestrian areas
• Landscape architectural features
• Contemporary exterior projects
• Custom cut-to-size stone elements

Surface Characteristics and Performance

Bush-hammering creates a pronounced mechanical texture, while brushing modifies the resulting surface profile.

The final texture and slip resistance depend on the combined finishing process and should be verified for the intended installation.

For exterior applications, relevant considerations include climatic exposure, water absorption, stone thickness, maintenance and installation requirements.
