Rustic Green Flamed

This stone is one of the rare limestones with the capability to withstand a trial by fire and emerge transformed for the better. After the flaming surface finish, Rustic Green limestone achieves an antique look one might expect to find in the remains of ancient temples, libraries and public buildings or arenas of a once thriving hellenistic civilisation that once upon a time ruled benevolently in the historical cradle of ancient history and wonders that is Anatolia. One can feel the reverence for the wise and ancient, accentuated within the inlaid fossils that can be seen on the uneven, rough and gritted surface.

Highly recommended for poolside surfaces as it is non-slip and texture friendly to step on barefoot. Assumes a color closer to beige when flamed and under sunlight.

Flamed & brushed surfaces are also popular to smoothen the surface slightly and add a lustrous appearance. Still considered an anti-slip surface.

 Attributes:

Uncommon tinge of green, can look slightly beige under sunlight, niche and one of a kind, slightly visible fossil inlays even when flamed, spontaneous patterns, durable, very non-slip.

Recommended applications:

Exterior cladding, interior and exterior steps, exterior paving, (has been used in vanity tops and table tops before, for such surfaces a flamed & brushed finish is more preferable), exterior paving, all manner of poolside applications including pool copings.
