Bush-Hammered Rustic Green Limestone | Seagrass Textured Paving

Pronounced Texture for Distinctive Outdoor Architecture

Bush-Hammered Rustic Green Limestone expresses the natural character of Seagrass Limestone through a pronounced, mechanically textured surface.

The bush-hammering process creates a pattern of small indentations across the stone, producing a rugged, matte appearance that emphasizes its tactile qualities.

Also marketed internationally as Seagrass Limestone, Grigio Olivo and Crema Oliva, Rustic Green is quarried and manufactured directly by HP Marble in Türkiye.

A Bold Architectural Surface

Bush-hammering creates a distinctive surface texture that brings depth and physical character to natural limestone.

Its muted olive-green tones and natural variations provide an organic contrast to the geometric forms of contemporary architecture.

The finish is particularly attractive for landscape projects where pronounced texture and a substantial natural stone appearance are desired.

Architectural Applications

• Exterior limestone paving
• Garden pathways and walkways
• Outdoor steps and staircases
• Courtyards and pedestrian areas
• Commercial landscape architecture
• Public-space paving
• Architectural landscape features
• Custom cut-to-size exterior stonework

Surface Characteristics and Performance

Bush-hammering produces a strongly textured surface that may contribute to pedestrian grip compared with smoother finishes.

However, final slip resistance must be established through testing appropriate to the intended installation.

The pronounced texture can also influence cleaning and maintenance requirements.

For exposed applications, relevant considerations include freeze-thaw performance, water absorption, stone thickness and installation conditions.
